As the technology is showing its wonder and now world is ready to witness the future cars. There futures car will be more in flying nature than runs on the roads. Hence Aska flying car concept has been unveiled and the future of transportation is changing. The Aska is classified as an eVTOL vehicle – that stands for Electric Vertical Take-Off and Landing. With its wings folded back, it can be driven on the road like a regular car, as it’s about the size of an SUV.
The Aska is the size of an SUV with a UAM range of up to 350 miles. The vehicle accommodates up to three people and runs on rechargeable batteries with a range extender (hybrid) propulsion system.
Aska Flying Car Concept
The company with a team of experts with vast experience in aeronautical and autonomous AI systems has successful test the flying cars. The team has developed the most advanced unmanned air vehicles, an autonomous flying car. on the other hand, Aska has foldable wings that store on top of the vehicle for operation on the road. It achieves flight using multiple ducted fans embedded in the body of the vehicle, and thrust for flight is provided with additional ducted fans on the wings.
Coming to its road configuration, it measures about 20 feet and, with wings unfolded, it extends to 40 feet. Well, many think that this car may need a runway but actually it’s not. The Aska flying car has ducted fans to propel the aircraft vertically and, after take-off, rear facing fans thrust it forward, allowing the wings to generate lift.
For landing, those same wings help the Aska flying car slowly glide in circles toward a landing zone. On the other hand, it appears as you’d need to not be just an accomplished driver but also a very good pilot but NFT covered its basics by also working on autonomous flying technology. it shows that the future Aska owners could simply select on Maps their destination, then sit back and relax as the flying car goes on Autopilot.
It flies autonomously with its unique Sense & Avoid system. The flying car has sophisticated AI for detection & collision avoidance in the air, dealing with air challenges by sensing, building an awareness picture and choosing the best safety action in the flight path. ASKA has a unique IP for autonomous systems that validates and verifies these capabilities. The company plans to integrate it with existing autonomous driving systems to make ASKA fully autonomous in the air and on the road.
Power will be provided primarily by a bank of rechargeable batteries, with an electric/gasoline hybrid system serving as a flight range extender. That range sits at an estimated 563 km (350 mi).
